Debb Taylor's Sage

Sage, Rising Sun's Desert Sage, was born in Las Vegas, NV on January 22, 1994.  I could tell from the moment she came into my life, that she had a special gift.

  On November 14, 1997, Sage had her one and only litter of puppies, of which two are certified therapy dogs.  Sage and her daughter, Kacie, were certified as therapy dogs by Delta Society in January 2001.  They both became certified R.E.A.D. dogs in March of 2004. 

Sage was a social butterfly and she always seemed to know who needed her special, unconditional love.  As I followed her around on our therapy visits, holding on to the end of her leash, she went from person to person, not stopping until she had visited with everyone she knew needed her soft golden head in their lap.

Sage died on September 1st of 2004 only a few days after her last visit.  She is greatly missed by our family, special friends that knew her and by the facilities she blessed with her unconditional love.
