Therapy Team Evaluation

The evaluation is a simulated visit where you and your animal are assessed for skills and aptitude to determine your readiness to become a registered Delta Society Team. Handler-animal teams wanting to join Mid South Therapy Dogs & Friends must pass the Delta Society Skill Test (PPST) and the Aptitude Test (PPAT) administered by a licensed Delta Team Evaluator. It is highly recommended that the handler-animal teams attend an evaluation within 90 days of completing the Team Training Workshop.

Reminder: Both the animal and the handler should be groomed and/or dressed appropriately as if you were going on a real volunteer visit.

Evaluation Policy:
Mid South Therapy Dogs & Friends conducts the team evaluation (PPSAT) four times a year.

Fee: Team Evaluation $30.00
